Your Success Is What We’re About

The distinctive work of DxDempsey has been recognized with awards and publications, including Design Bureau Magazine, AIA Design Excellence Awards, Independent Banker Magazine, AN Shopfitting Magazine, Design:Retail Magazine, multiple trade magazines, manufacturer product catalogues, and one of our specialty retail stores was even featured in a story line on NBC’s hit show, Modern Family.

Though the accolades are appreciated, our real sense of accomplishment comes from the success of our clients and from the data we collect to ensure that our work is producing the desired results. We understand the needs of business and the bottom line. This is why we focus on Return on Design Investment (RODI), which is defined as the financial, physical, cultural and psychological benefits to an organization and its people as a result of investment in good design. We also value intimate relationships and our ability to be responsive and attentive to our client-partners. Our intensely talented team of creative collaborators will work with you to bring your vision to fruition and make it even better than you could have imagined it.

His love of the architectural profession has touched all aspects of his life, including naming his adorable Dalmatian Van der Rohe after the one and only Mies Van der Rohe!

Anthony Matsell

Design Associate

Anthony is from Clarks Summit, PA and studied architecture at Marywood University. During his time there, he was able to earn Tag Sigma Delta Honors as well as being an active member of AIAS. As a reflection of his passion for design, he continues to give back and attends design critiques for current students.

Anthony had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. While there, he appreciated material integrity and the impact that has on the user experience, as well as how it affects the built environment. Anthony interned with us during school, left the area to gain experience in Philly, and has since reunited with the DxDempsey team and we are happy to have him back home!

Tanner Kachurka

Architectural Designer

Tanner is a native of Berwick, Pennsylvania and studied architecture at Marywood University. If your first thought was “Go Bull Dogs!” then you are barking up the wrong tree because Tanner not only played for, but was also captain of the famous Berwick High School football team. It takes someone with determination, discipline and talent to play at that level and Tanner brings all of that to DxDempsey.

We saw the sparks of raw talent and the fire in the belly during his internship at DxDempsey. Even during quarantine, he called consistently every week to see if there was anything he could do to help. We knew then he was an unstoppable team player who would fit our culture perfectly.
